- We are committed to manage the sustainability of Ghana’s forests both natural and plantation.
- We believe that we must constantly investigate the cutting edge technologies for seedling establishment and planting techniques to increase the quality of seedlings, both in the field and in the nurseries.
- We have implemented a comprehensive strategy to protect the plantation from fire, pests and illegal encroachment.
- We adhere to the European Union’s principles on avoiding the purchase of timber procured illegally.
- We employ and involve local farmers and laborers through a modified “taungya” system to uplift the communities.
- We are at the fore-front of promoting lesser known species in collaboration with the Forestry Commission.
- We have recognized our leadership in plantation development in Ghana, and have been approached by the Australian Tree Seed Center and requested to become its agent for receiving and supplying Australian tree seeds to non governmental organizations and community groups in Ghana.
